Back to master copies as a form of study. I really enjoyed working on the clouds and mountains of this particular work of Vincent van Gogh. I did the foreground not as much justice, but I think this is because the original, being much larger, lends itself to more detail. I still have a great deal of trouble piling on the paint–even without using any medium, my account is much more flat than the original.
