Just completed this master copy of Edgar Payne’s Sierra Majesty. I am a big fan of Edgar Payne’s work–also enjoyed his book on painting composition. I’m afraid I didn’t do this one much justice, but it was a good piece to study. This one was also much larger than I typically work, which presents its own challenges. I plan to do it again in my own stained glass approach later. Good getting back to work after spending this past week at the beach, soaking in the salt and sun.
