Taking Erin Gillespie‘s Early Expressionists class at Bemis. This week we were looking at Gabriele Münter’s still life work. I chose the below “Still Life with flowers in a white vase” to study and “stole” the color palette and the background, I did omit the white and purple. Copied the black outlines (as many expressionists used) however, mine look just a little too “neat.” Overall I like this palette, but will probably bring in more green next time…
