Landscape at Twilight, Oil on Panel, 16×16, 2021

Continuing my studies of Vincent van Gogh, I decided to form my own composition from one of his: Landscape at Twilight, 1890. I took the left side of the painting into a square and “did my thing” so to speak. When I got to the sky, I’ll admit I sort of got carried away with my drawing–too many threads on the brain from too many books I imagine. Overall, I’m pleased with the effect and will probably try it on other things…perhaps the right side of the same composition.
